Quote of the Week
“I see my opportunity with JHP at Penn as a way for me to truly immerse myself in Judaism, while gathering valuable work and learning experience and allow myself and others to follow in the footsteps of our ancestors.”
- Will Morel, JHP Assistant Fellow, Penn ‘07
JHP- A Deeper Look
One of the many reasons that JHP is successful in its Jewish learning is that JHP incorporates Jewish content in all of its events & programs in a subtle, non-threatening, fun, social environment with friends in lieu of a textbook, classroom environment. Many are even initially so reached by this JHP method that they choose to study further on or off campus, 1-on-1 or in groups with JHP Rabbis Ephraim Levin & Levi Haskelevich. Others are so touched & connected by the JHP influence & camaraderie on the Birthright Israel trip that they extend their trip in Israel to further their Jewish learning.
