Speed Networking at the Helium Club

JHP's sister organization, JBN, planned & executed a Speed Networking Event for its members & friends at the Helium Comedy Club in downtown Philadelphia. The event was the brainchild of Brad Grossman, JBN Board Member.

Registration & Kosher food kicked off the event. Thanks to the JBN Board, there were a lot of new faces, contacts & a diverse array of professionals. Registrants were given either red or green cards. Red - you remained in your seat the whole time; green - you rotated every two minutes conversing with seated participants & exchanging business cards.

Per Jennifer Birch, this event was so successful that members are planning to have the event on a quarterly basis. After the event, various stand up comedians performed for the audience.

"The event was highly successful & we look forward to a growing number of members participating in the upcoming Speed Networking events." - Brad Grossman, JBN Board

JHP Senior Send-Off

Lindsay Teich, JHP Fellow with JHP/Chabad Rabbis Menachem Schmidt, Ephraim Levin & Levi Haskelevich congratulated the graduating JHP seniors & extended their best wishes at a Senior Send-Off at the Old City Jewish Art Center (OCJAC).

In an atmosphere of self accomplishment, pride & celebration the students in turn talked & reminisced about what JHP has meant to them & how it has effected their lives with regard to being Jewish & their being comfortable balancing a Jewish life with their career aspirations.

JHP Shabbat Dinner on Delaware's Campus

Last week, Alexis Biebelberg, JHP Fellow & her troupe of JHP interns planned a Parent Shabbat dinner. The students with their parents gathered at the Chabad House on campus for an enlightening Shabbos remembrance. Rabbi Eliezer Sneiderman, JHP/Chabad Rabbi on campus welcomed the group & said Kiddush. The parents became excited seeing their children perform Jewish Mitzvahs honoring the Shabbos.

Per Alexis Beibelberg, JHP Fellow, it was awesome. Parents were appreciative and emotional seeing their kids link to Judaism.
