Sandy also valued being around smart people as President Ford included in his cabinet Henry Kissinger & Alan Greenspan. Sandy, working with his employees, realized that they make mistakes and that was alright because they can learn from them & correct them later.
Another dreamer, Albert Einstein, said, “Imagination is much more important than knowledge,” & the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson rekindled Judaism beyond anyone’s imagination. Rebbitzen Esther Jungreis Speaks at Penn
Rebbitzen Jungreis, a holocaust survivor, who has achieved acclaim as an outspoken proponent of Torah Judaism and an author of 3 best sellers, speaks to a SRO crowd on Penn’s campus. The audience was a mixed crowd of students and other men & women. Her oratory was captivating, breathtaking, enlightening and at times overpowering.
In her own words, she said that nothing happened on 9/11 that did not happen before. In the last seconds of that heinous tragedy, 1000s of people left the same message that was recorded for posterity. They all said, “I love you.” When life is stripped down to its essence, relationships with other persons are what matters.
There are 3 aspects to life: life is precious, every minute counts and what you do matters. The torah has so much to tell us and tell us how to have a wonderful life. The Rebbetzen gave each person a signed copy of her latest book, “Life Is A Test.” |
