Mentoring in the Penthouse: JHP Spring Leadership Retreat! At Residence 2 Liberty, on the top Floor, the highest in Philly, in the most dramatic setting, among the most amazing group of mentors assembled, Gary Erlbaum, President, Greentree Properties, Susanna Lachs, Esq., Wayne Kimmel, Managing Director, ETF Venture Funds, David Adelman, CEO, Campus Apartments, just to name a few; 156 student leaders from Penn, Temple, NYU, Binghamton, Pitt & Delaware unite to kick off the JHP Retreat. Luncheons, shabbos dinners, mentoring sessions, Jewish learning, leadership training, student bonding, brainstorming, initializing JHP programs and social interaction followed. Purim Carnival at Penn, Monday, Feb. 26: “Pin the Payos on the Rabbi:” 200 students devoured Sushi & Humantashen at Houston Hall while listening to the Chassidic rock music of the Baal Shem Tov Band & the sounds of “Penney loafers,” a cappella group from Penn.
Students “tried to pin the Payos on the Rabbi,” had their faces painted, were mesmerized by card tricks, shaved balloons & entered raffles to win an ipod, theatre tickets & more, all in celebration & remembrance of the miracle of Purim.

Sigmund ‘Zivey’ Moskow, Feb. 25, 2007 It is with deep sadness we mourn the passing of our friend and colleague, Sigmund ‘Zivey’ Moskow, Feb. 25, 2007.
Zivey’s contributions to Lubavitch House & JBN, from their beginnings, and to the Jewish community at large were exemplary. For over 20 yrs. he was Master of Ceremonies at the monthly JBN luncheons & helped create the organization. He will be greatly missed.
Services were held Tues. 1 P.M. Joseph Levine & Son, N. Broad St. above 71st Ave. Int. Har Nebo Cem. The family returned to the late residence, 1109 Concord Ave., Drexel Hill, PA 19026 where Shiva will be observed.
